Letterbind — Privacy
Letterbind is a small word game. There are no accounts, no passwords and no advertising.
What stays on your device
Your current run, your daily results and streak, a random device id, and the name you type for the leaderboard are stored in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes all of it.
What the leaderboard stores
If you submit a daily result, we store: the date, your random device id, the name you typed, your rounds and score, your best word, and the list of moves you made (so results can be verified). Friends-group codes are stored with the device ids that joined them. Nothing else — no email, no location, no contacts.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites. It counts page views and general device information.
The first time you open the game on a given day we also record one row — the date, your random device id, and whether you opened the daily or free play — so we can count how many people play and how many come back the next day. No other activity is sent.
Deleting your data
Clear the site's data in your browser to remove everything local. To remove a leaderboard entry, email santiagokdesk@gmail.com with your nickname and the date.
